Clooney hit the main stage of the sustainability conference in a golden yellow, one shouldered jumpsuit that was tailored to perfection and accentuated at the waist. (The event aimed to gather various thinkers and artists to inspire “collective change towards a more sustainable future for our planet.”) Given the jumpsuit was a fashion statement on its own, Clooney chose to accessorize it minimally with pieces such as simple bangles and sky high pumps. The oversized shades, meanwhile, made her look the part of the star she is. It seems she’s not giving up her love of jumpsuits as we head into summer—and we don’t blame her. The signature style is clearly working. Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales often turns to heirloom jewellery for official engagements, from Princess Diana’s double drop sapphire and diamond earrings (as seen at Trooping the Color last weekend) to Queen Elizabeth II’s Greville chandelier earrings (which she wore for the wedding of Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan and Princess Rajwa Al Saif earlier this month).

For an appearance at Royal Ascot on Friday, though, Kate opted for a more affordable jewellery choice, in the form of Sézane’s Esmee earrings, a gold filgree design featuring black beads. The royal paired the accessory with a scarlet dress by Alexander McQueen and hat by Philip Treacy (both go to designers for the Princess), along with a matching clutch by Hermès and Jennifer Chamandi pumps. It’s not the first time that Kate has worn Sézane, a Parisian brand founded by Morgane Sézalory back in 2013. On Christmas Day last year, the royal paired the label’s Dina earrings with a khaki coat by Alexander McQueen. Meanwhile, on a visit to Belize in March 2022, she opted for the brand’s oversized Charlie earrings, featuring large blue beads. With Sézane committed to using more sustainable materials, it makes sense that Kate is such a fan of the brand. Whether it’s sporting heirloom pieces or opting for eco minded brands, the royal is increasingly taking a more conscious approach to her wardrobe – and that goes for her jewelry
